GA ERA Club Requirements
There are a few rules to follow to form a new club or remain an existing club. The required forms and responsibility lists are available by contacting the GA ERA. Submit the completed forms and documents to the ERA Vice President. Once the ERA Vice President reviews the paperwork, it will be submitted to the GA ERA Board of Directors for club status approval. These same forms/documents are to be filed annually to remain a club, usually by March 31st of each year.
There are generic templates for by-laws available from the Vice President for use by both regular clubs and sports clubs. Clubs can customize these templates to meet the needs of their club.
New clubs cannot have the same purpose as existing clubs. If a club exists already, but the distances are prohibitive for people to attend the club’s activities, then a new, venue-specific chapter of that club may be formed by contacting the club’s officers.
