Special Announcement
EMPLOYEE RECREATION ASSOCIATION MEMORANDUM
To: All Members - Employee Recreation Association (ERA)
From: Tonya Aubuchon, ERA President
Date: December 30, 2025
___________________________________________________________________________
Dear ERA Members:
After thorough consideration and discussions, the ERA will begin winding down its operations effective immediately before dissolving. The ERA was established to foster, manage, and coordinate various recreational activities for its members and has served as a resource for access to information about local events and opportunities to connect with others sharing similar interests in the community. Changing workforce trends, GA’s domestic and international expansion, and technological advancements require a new approach, outside of the ERA.
With the exception of continuing to operate the ERA stores for a limited time in their current form and supporting the wind-down process, all other ERA and club activities are concluding. The ERA Board will work closely with GA to ensure a smooth transition during the wind-down process. GA will review services and offerings it could provide – for example, availability of company-branded merchandise through company stores.
The ERA Board is proud of the organization’s role in fostering community and connection at GA over the decades. We sincerely thank you for your support throughout its history.
